“That’s all I’ll ask for,” I replied. O 

My head slowly turned back to face her. My expression stayed calm as hers seemed to be boiling over with rage. 

“Jasmine, I’m coming in,” I told her. 

I knew it was wrong but I was hoping that Jasmine would give me a another chance. 

There is an unknown person who has my son and has already attacked Jasmine. Wouldn’t she be safer with me watching her? Especially now that she was in a vulnerable position from close by? 

Then in a flash her arm whipped and I felt myself get slapped hard across the cheek. My head lolled to one side and I looked down as pain coursed through my cheek. 

With her having confirmed that she would hear me out I slowly released her arms. She then sat up on the bed and I made to help her. 

“Look, I know I’m not your favorite person right now but we have to work together. We have to work together to find Anthony. Time is of the essence and we still have no clue who this person is. It’s already been a week. If we work together sharing the knowledge we both have we can find him.” I tried to convince her. 

“I have nothing to say to Keith. You gave to let me go!” she yelled at me again. 

I quickly walked right up to her on the bed. Upon reaching her she immediately tried to hit me. I managed to grab her arms before she could make contact with my face. 

I knew she was going to want to return to the Carrington but she was already harmed in his care. With all this uncertainty I didn’t want to risk it. Now that I was aware of the situation I could better protect her. 

I then forced her arms down and made landed on her back on the bed. I put her arms them on either side of her head. 

Her green eyes met mine as they softened and a conflicted expression appeared on her face. 

“He doesn’t hit me, but his punishments are horrible,” he said to me. 

I know I fucked up when I chose Diana but it won’t happen again. I won’t let anything

I had known that Jasmine was probably going to react like that, but I still wasn’t prepared. I know what I did was too extreme. 

“Quiet in there, it’s bedtime!” one of the bodyguards outside said 

After about 10 minutes I left the lounge as I made to go to my home office. I hadn’t gone to the HQ today again I had to call the office and receive updates on work done. 

“No!” she fought against my grip on her. I looked down at her, her green eyes filled rage as she fought me. Her luscious brown hair that cascaded in waves around her head on 

the bed. 

“Fine,” she started. “I will work with you to find Tony not because I trust you.” 

My lips pressed into a thin line and my jaw tightened. I still firmly believed that Louis was too young for her. He was going to break her heart their relationship would come to an end. 

She let out a tired sigh. She seemed to contemplate my offer as she turned her head to 

the side. 

There was then a sharp knock at the door. 

I slowly entered the room and immediately saw an object heading my way. I ducked it fell to the floor and broke. I looked down and saw a broken water glass. 

“I want someone to clean up the vase on the floor,” I ordered one of my bodyguards as I walked out of the lounge. 

“We should go to bed,” Marco then told me, warning me. We ended our conversation, went to our beds sat down. 

I wished she wouldn’t look at me with such hatred but I couldn’t blame her. 

“You jerk!” she yelled out at me as she threw her pillows from the bed. 

It was in the early evening when I left my office and made my way to Jasmine’s room to try to talk to her again. 

ANTHONY’S POV 

I buried my head in my hands as Jasmine was dragged out by my bodyguards. I then looked at the conservatorship/ court order on the table,

Her lips pressed into a thin line and her eyes narrowed. “I hate you,” she spat out at

I know, I thought to myself. I hated to admit it but I would rather she here with me though angry at me than her be with the Carrington. 

Breathing heavily her delicate chest rising and falling in frustration. She continued to fight against my hold but my arms kept hers pinned down. 

“Surely, you care more for him more than you hate me,” I told her. 

“Jasmine listen to me,” I told her. 

Tommorow I had to talk to them in Jasmine’s behalf now that she was awake and I was 

her legal guardian. 

KEITH’S POV 

“Touch me again, and I’ll bite your balls off Keith,” she threatened me. 

My gaze went back to her. She began to throw other objects at me. 

I did it for two main reasons. To protect her and also to ensure she doesn’t get attacked again. 

I went to her door and knocked. The nurse had just come from attending to her so t 

knew she was awake. 

A heavy weight was on my chest as the guilt ate at me. 

Earlier I had to deal with several ongoing investigations. I talked 

I got into the blankets like Marco. At first, I was quiet and just looked up at the ceiling, then after a couple of moments, tears filled my eyes and began to stream down my cheeks. I really wanted to see my mum. I wanted to go home to her and Louis. 

“Because I realized I could give Tony so much better without you!” her hurtful words continued to replay in my mind.
