My uncle then stood up, and the bodyguard who stood nearby was holding a camera in his hands.

Take as many as you can,my uncle instructed him.

The bodyguard then removed the duck tape and release the rope. The man began to walk away heading for the door.

Wait!I said and got up but felt dizzy and weird from being tied up so I couldn’t run properly.

Still I tried to run to the door and rush but the man was already out the door and closed it in my face.

Let me out!I screamed and banged the door. I continued to do so hoping the door would open. As I hit I noticed at the bottom was a little opening kind of like a pet door and a letter hole but really thin. What was it for? I knelt and tried to put my hand through but my arm wouldn’t fit.

Again I started banging at the door helplessly.

After a while it became clear that that no one was going to come and let me go banging against the door wasn’t going to do anything.

and

I turned away from the door to look at the dark empty room except for the little sleeping mat and the toilet in the corner.

Uncle had said Marco had been brought here many times. So this is where he was punished too? I wondered to myself.

I looked up at the only window int the room leading outside the mansion. It was too high up. I wouldn’t be able to climb up.

I sat down on the mat after a moment thinking about what my uncle had just done. He was going to send those pictures to my mum and dad. I remembered the other time he had told me that he

I looked at the rope and duct tape next to the mat, which the body had left with me. After a while, as it got darker and darker in the room, there was a small switch near the door, which I went to and turned on the light, which was so yellow and dim it barely lit much in the room. I returned to the mat. My stomach growled, and I looked down at it, feeling hungry. I was sure I would be having dinner right now with Marco. Was I going to go to bed without eating? I wondered in worry.

After what felt like more hours, I then heard footsteps. I looked at the door and saw the outline of feet at the door.

Please! Let me out!I begged and ran to the door.

I then saw a tray get pushed through that thin opening at the bottom of the door. It was my dinner: some bread and some soup, and the tray was covered in plastic. The feet then walked away from the door, and I heard the footsteps get farther away.

Was Uncle really going to make me spend the night in this nasty room? I looked down at the tray again, and my stomach grumbled. I wanted to complain and bang at the door to make Uncle get me out, but I knew he wasn’t going to.

I just took the tray, went to sit on the mat, and ate the food in silence. Once I was done, I lay back on the mat and looked up at the gray concrete ceiling.

I then looked at the rope beside the mat, and out of boredom, I took it and began to play with it.

Uncle said that whether I would be set free or not depended on my father. I hated to say it, but I don’t think my dad would save me. I don’t think he cared about me that much.

After what felt like several more hours, I eventually fell alseep. Without brushing my

teeth.

The following morning, when I woke up, there was already a breakfast tray waiting for me. I ate the food and then moved around the keep, busy as I moved around the room playing with the rope.

I swung it around as I paced back and forth in the room. Then I noticed something on the window of the room.
