JASMINES POV 

“Jasmine you’re angry with me for what exactly? Because things didn’t go your way?” He asked me. 

“What are you talking about?” I asked him. 

“You always wanted to see me until recently, I kicked you out of the mansion and you haven’t found. Now you’re no longer coming, you start working at a restaurant, you ask for all your maids to leave your home and a all these illogical things.” 

“You think I’m doing all of this out of pettiness?” I asked him in disbelief at what I was hearing. You know what? Not slapping him was going to be difficult after all. 

“Are you not?” he asked me. 

“Keith please, don’t be ridiculous,” I said to him and rolled my eyes. 

“I do find your fiesty attitude amusing but I do think you’re taking it too far.” 

‘I’m not doing it for your amusement,” I angrily snapped at him. 

He was looking at me with the most annoying smirk that told he wasn’t taking me seriously at all. 

“Jasmine did you not spend your allowance money? And then you got a job as a 

waitress around the same time. I asked all your maids and they said they saw you the servants in the house also said they saw you taking Diana’s possessions when you you used to live.” 

Do you not feel bad for how you not feel bad for your family and what they are going through? They literally apologised again to me on your behalf the other day. Don’t you feel bad for them? Or worry your pettiness Just own up to your faults and apologise as well. 

“Who gave you that information?” I then asked him. “All this evidence you received of my actions who presented it to you?” 

His investigation into situations, more times than not, went as far as what Diana presented to him. He didn’t get further information from other sources beyond that. He was basically taking her at face value. Wilfully ignorant if you ask me.

“Jasmine not this again. You cannot continue to blame Diana. What’s so difficult about owning up to your actions? Keep in mind I also asked the maids and they say they witnessed you doing the things you were have been accused of on numerous occasions. So I wasn’t just taking information from Diana.” He said to me. 

Diana was bribing the maids to lie for her! I thought to myself but I couldn’t prove it. 

“And here I thought you would be calm enough to have a conversation with today.You make it seem like I wanted to leave you. That I wanted to do this to you. This is all the consequences of your actions,” he continued. 

I didn’t ask you to come here Keith, I thought to myself. “So you think I’ve gone crazy?” 

I asked him. 

“I think from the moment Diana came 2 years ago you’ve been acting different from the Jasmine I used to know,” he told me. 

My eyes narrowed as I watched his eyes. 

“If that’s what you believe then why are you here, Keith?” I asked him. Why have you come to visit a crazy person I wondered to myself. 

“At the end of the day, I still care for you Jasmine we’ve been married for nine years. You don’t have to do this to make a point. It’s only you who’s suffering at the end of the 

day.” 

I rolled my eyes at his response. At this point it wasn’t even about Diana framing me anymore. There was nothing I could ever say to make him believe me. How good Diana’s pussy that you’re willing to think I’m an idiot for the sake of believing her? 

“If you truly cared for me then you wouldn’t think so poorly of me and insult my intelligence. You’ve known me for nine years and think I would do all this out of pettiness and jealousy. I stand on everything I’ve ever told you about Diana I lived in the in the mansion. If you don’t believe me then that’s that. We’ll never see eye to eye on this.” I told him bluntly. 

I was done having this conversation over and over again. In the past with an opportunity to have this conversation with Keith I would have been begging him to believe me. I wouldn’t bother this time. 

“Jasmine-” he started. 

“I’ve stopped trying to meet with you. I’m blocked from contacting you. So we never

have to have this conversation again. You can be with Diana in peace,” I interrupted him. Keith had blocked me from everything so I couldn’t couldn’t blow up his phone back when I was determined to see with him. 

“I don’t need you to be concerned for me I’m doing just fine with my son,” I then 

finished off. 

Keith’s lips parted and I knew he was going to try and say something again. 

“Quite frankly I’ve had enough of this conversation Keith, I think you should leave now,” I interrupted him sternly. My tone was angry but somehow I was calm. My blood was boiling it was taking everything for me not to just crash out at Keith. 

He closed mouth and stared at me blankly for a while as I glared at him. 

“I’ll leave you then,” he finally said as if sensing my energy. He then turned away from me. His bodyguards following close behind and I watched them leave. 

Once his car left my gate, I let out a frustrated sigh. My hands were literally balled up into fists from the rage I felt. The audacity of that man I wanted to hurry with this divorce now more than ever. I wanted to stop seeing Keith. I thought if I stopped trying to see him i wouldn’t have to worry since he hated me. But the opposite was happening for some weird reason. Divorcing him was the quickest way to get him out of my life, I should also leave this house so Keith couldn’t visit whenever he felt like it 

either.
