My head maid was the only other person in this house aside from me and Marco who knew the truth. The only reason I trusted her was because I was threatening her. One wrong move and her family would pay the price.

I would keep them myself but Keith might find them since we shared a room. Only my head maid and I frequented Marco’s room so it was the safest. As I watched my head maid maid leave, I rolled my eyes as I recalled what had made me think of my past all of a sudden.

Keith had gone to see Jasmine. Why was he visiting that bitch again!? I asked myself. On a Sunday afternoon when he could be here spending time with me?

He had told me ahead of time that he was going to see her. Saying nonsense like he was worried about her having to clean for herself.

But why did he have to go in person? He could easily send someone else to check in on her. He didn’t have to go himself.

And I had to pretend I was alright with the whole thing when he told me so I wouldn’t seem bothered.

I knew that bitch was up to something to have Keith respond this way twice in a row. First when she got his attention by stopping her obsessive visits and secondly after the first visit. I could tell Jasmine was still on his mind since the last visit. It was so annoying since I could easily tell when something was bothering him and on his mind.

Mum,I heard a voice pull me out of my thoughts again.

What you little shit!I yelled at Marco. 1

He knows not to bother me when I’m busy. Marco flinched from my yelling.

Dad’s here,” he announced to me in a small voice.

I immediately got up from my seat.

Stay put,” I ordered Marco.

I practically ran downstairs to the entrance hall of the mansion. I caught Keith just as he entered the house.

As I looked up at him from the hug he then tucked my hair behind my ear.

How did it go?I asked him as I looked at him. He had that look again, that weird blank stare he had the last time he’d come from seeing her.

From that look I knew it wouldn’t be long before he would go to see her again. This was a part of Jasmines plan alright. I had to stop her. She was getting way to comfortable. She thought she was getting away with this but I couldn’t let her win.

Whatever she was plotting wasn’t obvious. From Keith’s expression it’s not like she’d seduced him but she had made him interested in her. Perhaps, she was trying to draw his attention and slowly get him to favour her. After all she couldn’t prove she was innocent of everything I’d accused her off.

Jasmine doesn’t want to talk unfortunately,he informed me.

That’s so sad so she wants to continue living the way she’s living?I asked faking concern. When I knew exactly why she was doing this.

I can’t seem to reason with her and she’s choosing to suffer out of pettiness,he told me. However, I was annoyed by his expression.

The words that were coming out of his mouth weren’t matching the expression on his face. If you thought she was being petty and unreasonable why do also look like you’re doubting something? I wanted to ask him.

I really hate that things have come to this,” I said to him in my most pleasing innocent tone. I really wanted to be friends with Jasmine I understand why she might feel slighted by how things turned out 2,

I would guilt Keith into feeling bad for me and get him to defend me. Removing whatever thoughts he had about Jasmine.

It’s not your fault,he said to me as he gazed down at me.She’s the one who bullied you, you don’t have to blame yourself for the consequences of her actions.”

I looked into his eyes and saw I’d got him. His attention was now on me.

Perhaps I can help her,I said to him. As a plan to put Jasmine in her place came to mind.

His eyebrows furrowed in confusion. what do you in mean?he asked me.

Perhaps I can try to talk to her myself and convince her to come around. Get her to back her senses,I explained.

I recalled the conversation we’d had about Jasmine some days ago when he told me he thought Jasmine was losing her mind.

As in visit her yourself? He asked me. I nodded my head in response.

Perhaps Jasmine thought I couldn’t touch her anymore. When we all lived together in the house I could easily frame her for stealing one of my possessions but we didn’t live together anymore. She refused the maids and other servants in her house so I couldn’t accuse her of her spending have the maids do things to her. How smart. She probably thought she was immune to my torment now.

I guess I would have to show her just how wrong she was. No matter where she was or what circumstances she put herself in to avoid me she could never run away from me. I had more money than her I had more resources, I was in control here.

I don’t know if that’s such a good idea,Keith said to me nervously. Jasmine’s different lately not to mention she’s not very fond of you,he told me.

It’s just I’m worried about her as well. Inspite of everything she’s done to me I don’t want her to suffer like this. From how you say she’s acting she must be unwell. She’s insisting on doing everything herself and refused her allowance that she so obviously needs. Maybe I can get through to her,I made sure use my sweetest persuasive voice. Make sure he thought I did care Jasmine.

Diana you’re too kind for your own good,” he said as his eyes softened as he looked at
