Elena
Despite my struggles, I was bound and whisked off to our neighboring pack.

I’ve always disliked alpha Jason, mainly because he showed no respect for my marriage and was always flirting with me and trying to touch me. After tonight, I realized why some of Elijah’s friends never respected my marriage, because it was never real and they were all aware. That’s why he didn’t care that Alpha Kade wanted to sleep with me, because he was the one who asked Alpha Kade to try seducing me. That’s also why Elijah was willing to give me up to his best friend to have a night of fun with me, because he never cared about me and only got with me to benefit from the name attached to me and the family I was from.
When I got presented before alpha Jason, I glared darkly at him while he laughed and raked his eyes over my face.
“Feisty little Elena… on her knees before me, who could have predicted this?” He drawled and I desperately wished I could stab him with a knife, then return back to Nyx pack to stab Elijah.
“Bastard.” I bit out but that only made him laugh harder.
“I really wish I could continue this warm exchange cause I’ve genuinely always liked you. You’ve very beautiful, the most beautiful I’ve laid eyes on at that, but sadly I can’t, cause my men are gonna be taking you to evylon pack right now, where you’ll wed the blackbird by morning.”
I let out a shaky breath, all my bravado disappearing at once. I had hoped all that Elijah said about replacing alpha Jason’s sister would end up being a lie, but turns out it was actually true.
I tried negotiating with him. I tried reasoning with him to not do this, but it was fruitless because he didn’t listen to me. He only ordered a new set of guards to take me all the way to evylon pack before starting to leave.
I screamed after him, begging desperately, but he didn’t turn back once.
Never in my entire life did I imagine that one’s life can change this much in a single night.
For the second time in one night, I was bound and whisked off, to evylon pack, and at that point, for the first time since my life began to fall apart tonight, I let my tears fall.
On arriving at Evylon pack, I was washed and dressed as a bride before I realized it, then I was being presented to a very large wedding as the bride, my face covered by a veil.
I was gagged underneath the veil, which was the only reason I wasn’t screaming my lungs off, and I’ve have been warned by a scary looking woman that should I dare throw a tantrum at the ceremony, I’d be gunned down fast, and that was why I sat still while we all waited for the groom to show up.
Hours passed, but the groom never showed up. I want to die from humiliation.
I didn’t know what was more humiliating, either the fact that I got betrayed, rejected and given off like a

worthless object, then got whisked off here to become the bride of a scary monster, or the fact that my groom didn’t deem his own wedding important enough to show up to.
“Isn’t she the woman that got exposed by her mate for cheating on him and also leaking out classified information?” A short woman snapped, moments after I was led into a large room and my face got unveiled.
I quickly stiffened, eyes darting around as realization slowly dawned on me. They were referring to last night, at the party, so many media outlets had been present. They’ve suddenly broadcasted the news far and wide without wasting time?
“I don’t know…” I attempted to lie, but one of the women gathered around me turned on the tv and right there, was a video of my mate speaking, with the camera focused on my shocked expression.
“That was a lie! I’d never cheat, why would I ever do that?!” I cried out just as a man sauntered into the room, flagged by three men. He was aged, but clearly still powerful, telling by how everyone quickly bowed and made way for him. I stiffened as he approached me, growing uncomfortable as I felt the powerful aura oozing off him.
He stood in front of me and regarded me with what I’d term as disgust.
“This is the bride sent by that bastard Jason?!” He thundered and everyone cowered- including myself as his angry eyes focused on my face. I stiffened and held my hands up.
“Look, I was forced into this situation! Alpha Jason forcefully switched me in place of his sister! Just let me go and that would be the end of it…” I was still speaking when everyone gasped while gaping at me. I blinked at them in confusion, and the woman standing closest to me spoke quietly.
“You do not speak to The Crow except when being spoken to.” She whispered and I frowned in confusion.
“He’s the former alpha of alphas, and the father of your husband–to–be.” She revealed and my mouth fell open in realization. This was the man who got into that messed up contract with alpha Jason’s father decades
ago.
He wasn’t looking at me when I glanced up, he was focused on the group of women that got me ready for the wedding this morning, and he had one of them by the throat. “Will someone explain to me why this disgraced woman is here now, and how she’s now married to my son. You all got her ready for the wedding and
you didn’t realize she was just disgraced last night and is technically a rejected Luna? How is a woman like this now married to my son? She doesn’t even have a scent, is she wolfless?” He barked and everyone flinched again.
“Your eminence, they- they’re not married yet because the king didn’t show up at the wedding. And she’s not wolfless.. her wolf is just dormant, we confirmed it.” One of the throne’s four betas tentatively responded.
The Crow growled as he released the woman he had by the throat and she began coughing, just as he focused on me and I almost peed my pants as he spoke.
“Why are you here? Explain!”
My heart pounded hard as I explained the whole situation, and once I was done, he growled again.
“That bastard Jason thinks he can fool me?! He was supposed to send his sister and not someone like you. Someone like you who not only cheated on her mate but also sold classified information to other men? You’d

only bring shame to Evylon’s throne, and you’re not from the pure bloodline stated in the contract I had with Jason’s father either.” He regarded me with disgust once more before turning away.
“Dispose of her.” He said to the men still present before leaving.
