Chapter 197
It has been a crazy couple of weeks but we decided to finally have a successful mating ceremony as well as a wedding in one.
The morning of our wedding was the most beautiful morning of my life.
I stood in my bedroom, but it did not feel like a cage anymore.
The windows were wide open. The sweet smell of the forest and fresh flowers filled the air.
I looked at my dress. It was a dress made of silk as white as my wolf’s fur. It had tiny silver crystals that caught the light whenever I moved. It looked like I was wearing a piece of the moon.
“You look like a Queen, Faith,” a voice said.
I turned around and smiled. My mother was standing there. She looked happy. and peaceful. I guess this is what peace and forgiveness looks like.
I’m honestly glad that she and my father could make it because this couldn’t be the best day of my life with they weren’t here to share my joy as well because I’ve grown to care about them too.
They hugged me one last time and left. I stood alone for a second, looking at myself in the mirror. I thought about the girl who ran away 7 years ago. I thought about the the man who didn’t know his own heart enough to admit he loved me.
We’ve been through a war. We fought family, dark magic and secrets. But we were still standing.
The ceremony was held in the same place where we had our family picnic. We had decorated the trees with long white ribbons and thousands of tiny fairy lights. The whole pack was there. The Crescent Pack had traveled for days to be here, too.
They sat side by side with the Eternal Pack. There were no borders today. There was only one big
family.
My Pa was waiting for me at the edge of the woods. He looked so handsome in his suit. When he saw me, his eyes got misty. He walked over and took my arm.
“You are not a coward, Faithy,” he whispered. “You are the bravest woman I have ever known. I am so proud to be your father.”
“Thank you, Pa,” I whispered back.
We started to walk. The music was soft and beautiful. As I walked down the grass aisle, I saw the faces of the people I loved. I saw Alice and Liam holding hands. I saw my parents smiling. I saw Kimberly and Chase gigling. My Ma was crying and my children looked the happiest they had ever

been.
And then, I saw him.
426 Pourth
Astor was standing at the altar. His face was full of emotion. His eyes were locked on mine, and I could feel the heat of the mate bond pulling me toward him. It felt like a golden thread was tied
between our hearts.
When I reached him, Pa handed my hand to Astor. Astor squeezed it tight. His hand was warm and
strong.
“You are beautiful,” he whispered.
“Ditto” I whispered back.
The ceremony was not long, but it was very deep. We did not use the words of the Council. We used our own words.
“I, Astor, take you, Faith, to be my mate once again,” he said. His voice was loud so the whole pack could hear. “I promise to never hide my heart from you again. I promise to protect you, to honor you, and to stand by your side until the moon falls from the sky. You are my light, and I am lost without you.”
Tears rolled down my cheeks. It was my turn.
“I, Faith, take you, Astor, to be my mate,” I said. “I promise to never run away again. I promise to trust you and to fight for our family. We are one soul, and today, we begin our forever.”
We exchanged rings, and then Astor pulled me into a kiss. It was a kiss that tasted like home. The pack let out a roar of joy that was so loud it probably shook the mountains.
But the day was not just about us. It was about the future.
After we were married, Astor and I turned to face the crowd. We held our hands up for silence. “Today is a day of healing,” Astor said. “And today, we make a promise to our children and our people. We lead two packs now. The Eternal Pack and the Crescent Pack. These packs are brothers and sisters.”
I stepped forward, pulling Isabella and Marco to my side. They were dressed in their best clothes. Isabella had a small flower crown on her head, and Marco looked like a little version of his father.
“We have decided the future of our legacy,” I announced.
I looked at Marco. He was only six, but he had a very serious look on his face. He looked at the Eternal Pack warriors with steady eyes.
Chapter 197
“Marco will be the future Alpha of the Eternal Pack,” I said. “He will be a leader who protects his home with strength and kindness.”
The Eternal Pack wolves howled. They loved Marco. They saw Astor in him.
Then I looked at Isabella. She was standing tall, looking out at the Crescent Pack members.
“Isabella will be the future Alpha of the Crescent Pack,” I said.
The Crescent Pack wolves let out a beautiful, high–pitched howl. They were so happy to know that my daughter would lead them one day.
In that moment, something amazing happened.
As the packs howled, the sun hit the children. I looked down at them, and I gasped.
In Marco’s eyes, a bright flash of white light appeared. It was not the gold of a normal Alpha. It was the pure, brilliant white of my own power. His skin seemed to glow.
Then I looked at Isabella. Her whole body seemed to shimmer. A soft, white aura grew around her like a protective shield.
The White Wolf was not just in me. It was in them. They were the start of a new kind of werewolf. I looked at Astor. He saw it too. He was staring at our children with wide eyes and a proud smile. He wrapped his arms around all of us, pulling us into a big family hug.
“We made it.” I whispered to Astor, leaning my head on his shoulder.
“We made it through everything, Faith,” he said, kissing my temple. “And we are never letting go.”
