Linda absolutely did not want to see Michael. If Jessica were not currently investigating Michael, she would have wished that the Wilder Group and the Hall family had no connection at all.
From start to finish, Linda’s opinion of Michael was clear. She felt he was a petty person.

company in the new year.

The hospital always needed someone on duty. Francesca had already helped Chris arrange all the doctors
duty schedules. Chris reviewed it and confirmed there were no problems, but he was curious why his
own name was not on the list.

Francesca continued, “One more thing. the company will be listed next year. To welcome the commercialization reform, many people will visit during the New Year. As chairman and investor, you and Ms. Wilder need to receive guests at home.”
“I still have to deal with those people?” Chris said with a sour face.
Francesca nodded. “Don’t worry. Ms. Wilder has arranged for me and Shannon to receive them. You just sit there and act as a mascot. You don’t need to say anything.”

After all, he had no other choice – he was just a hostage.
The hospital was no place for massive decorations.
At home, however, Chris bought a lot of things.
After five years of being married to Jessica, he had never looked forward to the New Year like this.
This was their first New Year after their hearts had truly connected, giving it a different meaning.
Even if they had to go to the Wilder family’s residence on New Year’s Eve, they still wanted to decorate
their house.
The difference between an employer and an employee was actually quite obvious, especially during
holidays.
