Helen shook her head.
If she had known, how could she have been deceived so badly by Michael?
How could she have watched her parents die like that, ending up in such a situation–alone, even without her daughter?

That person had hidden themselves too well.
There was no information at all now.
After a pause, Chris looked at Helen.
She seemed deeply distressed, especially during times like this.

Helen closed her eyes. “I only want to avenge my parents. Jordan is my child. I can’t let her stay with someone like Michael.”
