Chris reviewed some documents arranged by Francesca when Adam knocked and entered.
“Mr. Green,” Adam said softly.
Chris was momentarily surprised, then smiled and put down the files.
“You’re here for a follow–up today?”
“Yeah, I didn’t see you downstairs at the clinic, so I wanted to come up and say hello.”
Chris invited Adam to take a seat.
“You look well. Your recovery seems good. Let me see the report.”
Adam handed over the report.
Chris skimmed it and nodded.

“You’re doing well. Based on your current condition, you can rejoin the crew in another two months, but you still need to take things easy.”
“I’ve slowly started working again recently – mostly doing endorsements where I just stand still, so it’s not a problem.”
They chatted a bit before Adam left.
Chris glanced at his phone. Jessica should have arrived by now.
He was about to call her when the call came first.
It was Roy.
“Roy?” Chris was puzzled. Why was Roy calling at this hour?
Roy sounded frantic. The rain outside poured continuously, and he was soaked, standing by his car with one hand on the roof.
“Where’s Jessica? Why isn’t she answering her phone? Where is everyone?”
“Jessica is on a business trip. She went to Montvue Tower. What’s up?”
Something major had happened to the Hall family.
Luke was missing.
