Chapter 280
Chris had slept for a long time. When Chris woke up again, he didn’t even know where he was until he saw
Jessica beside him. He instinctively reached out and hugged her, while Jessica just let out a soft murmur without
fully waking.
He hadn’t dreamed in a long time.
The last time he dreamed was probably when the two of them were not getting along. Chris had a premonition
that he might lose this woman, and the dream was filled with beautiful moments between them.
He guessed he must have been too tired.
Chris massaged his temples.
Jessica lay on her side next to him, her expression restless. Chris raised his hand and gently smoothed out the
furrow in her brow.
He didn’t even know when he had fallen asleep. His last memory was after finishing his shower, still wanting to
talk to Jessica for a bit. ”
He hadn’t expected to fall asleep as soon as he got into bed.
It seemed that he really couldn’t compare to when he was in school, now that he was older, even doing
something small drained his energy.
Since it was still early, Chris held Jessica and went back to sleep for a while longer.
“Luke’s condition doesn’t look too good. Now it wasn’t just his body, but even his mental state was acting strangely. Before, when Luke saw us, he yelled and shouted. I thought it was panic, but now he even reacts that
way when he sees his parents.”
Jack reported to Roy. The situation in the hospital was tense, no one could get close to Luke.
Doctors and nurses could only restrain him to briefly approach and administer IVs and medication.
“Have you found a psychologist?” asked Roy.
Jack said, “The hospital psychologist went to see him but was injured as soon as he walked through the door. He still has a wound on his forehead. The hospital suggested the police find a psychologist.”

It seemed that the hospital didn’t want to take responsibility anymore since it was a complicated case.
Roy thought for a moment, then suddenly picked up his phone and called Nina.
“I remember FN has a pretty capable psychologist, right?” asked Roy.

Nina was holding a meeting with a group of agents, finalizing standards for the next quarter. When she got her brother’s call, she waved everyone off.
After the room cleared, she put on her Bluetooth headphones and said, “Yes, but he isn’t FN’s exclusive
therapist. He just has a private relationship with me and is willing to come check every quarter. What’s up?”
Roy said, “Luke’s mental condition is unstable, and the hospital psychologist can’t get anywhere near him. I’m
thinking if we can find someone from out of the hospital.”
Nina looked at the time. “I’ll call and ask. He probably isn’t asleep yet.”
“Not asleep yet?”
“He’s abroad, currently probably in Lonat. The world’s top psychology clinic is run by him. All capable
psychologists are recruited under him. Even if he doesn’t come, he’ll likely send someone else.”
“Okay, do it as soon as possible.”
Frederick Renolds really hadn’t gone to sleep yet. It was just past 11 at night in Lonat, so it wasn’t his bedtime
yet.
When Nina called, Frederick’s first reaction was that FN must have another scandal exposed, and the actor
couldn’t handle it.
“It’s not me. It’s about… don’t ask. My brother needs him. Do you have time to make a trip back to the country?
If not, just arrange someone for me, my brother will pay.”
Wearing silk pajamas, Frederick lay in bed, a professional book open beside his pillow.
“Coincidentally, I’m going back in a few days. I’ll take a look for you then.”
“Thanks so much. I’ll pick you up when you come back.”
“Forget it. If you come to pick me up, the airport will be swarmed with paparazzi. I’ll come to FN to see you.”
“Okay.”
