Natalie spent the afternoon touring the university before coming out, and Felix and the others waited in the car, not wandering off.
All afternoon, Chris and Felix had several times wanted to ask Jessica when the person she mentioned would
appear.
But unexpectedly, Natalie returned with someone.
“Uncle Felix.” Natalie was bouncing up and down cheerfully, holding the hand of a girl. “Her name is Tristana, she’s in my class. Someone was bullying her just now, and I helped her!”
Felix instinctively looked at Jessica, who only glanced at Tristana before looking away, as if she didn’t know her
at all.
“Impressive.” Felix ruffled Natalie’s hair and turned to Tristana. “Hello. Are you from Cheria?”
Tristana nodded. “Hello. I’m from Impelia. Natalie told me we’re from the same city. I didn’t expect us to end up in the same class this time. It’s really fate.”
Coming from the same country and city, yet somehow ending up beside Natalie, was something only a carefree young lady like Natalie wouldn’t overthink.
She even believed that she had saved Tristana.
“I booked a popular restaurant for dinner.” Felix naturally wanted to give Tristana a chance to spend more time with Natalie. “Tristana, you should come along.”
Tristana looked embarrassed and quickly waved her hand and said, “I’ll pass.”
“My belongings were thrown out of my dorm by my classmates, and my bed was messed up. I need to go back and tidy it up. Let’s meet after school starts, in class,” Tristana said to Natalie.
Tristana turned to leave.
But a spirited young lady like Natalie couldn’t tolerate seeing a friend she had recognized being bullied.
She grabbed Tristana’s hand.
“It’s just bullying. They see that you’re not from Lonat, so they take advantage of you. I won’t give them that chance.” Natalie turned to Felix. “Uncle Felix, can Tristana stay with me? The house is big enough and there are so many empty rooms. We can look after each other if we live together.”
Felix laughed when he heard that, “I think she’ll be the one taking care of you. How can you say you can look after each other?”
In fact, Felix had already hired a housekeeper, who cooked and cleaned for Natalie every day, and also personally protected her.
If Tristana moved in with Natalie, she could follow Natalie almost 24/7.

As long as no one noticed, she would be Natalie’s bodyguard forever.
Tristana said, “No, no. I don’t have enough money to rent a place off–campus. I can’t share the rent with you.”
Natalie looked up. “You don’t need to pay. My uncle bought the house. I’m unfamiliar with life in Lonat. You came early, so just think of it as keeping me company.”
“But…”
Seeing Tristana still hesitating, Felix quickly said, “Natalie is right. University lasts several years. You’re both girls from the same city. In a foreign country, you need to help each other. How about this. Tristana, go back and pack your things. Later, we’ll pick you up. You can stay with Natalie for a few days.”
Unable to refuse any longer, Tristana finally agreed, even promising to let Natalie’s family handle cleaning and cooking in the future. Natalie waved her hand, unclear in meaning.
Jessica and Chris got into another car to go to the restaurant.
“So this is the bodyguard you mentioned? She doesn’t look very old!” said Chris.
Jessica looked out the window. Her phone vibrated occasionally, but she didn’t reply.
“She’s not very old. Maybe a year or two younger than Natalie. But Tristana has been by my side since she was 10. My mother brought her back and kept her at school all this time.”
