“What if we set up some makeshift beds in the ballroom? That way they can all be together for now. It may help the children too. For them, this is a strange place and there are a lot of strange people here.” He gives me a big smile as he leans in and gently kisses me. “See, a true Luna already.” His comment makes me smile and feel slightly proud that he’s allowing me this opportunity.

While it may not seem like a big task I know from my experience at my old pack that in this kind of situation a job like this is massive and one that is usually given to the Luna or a higher–up ranking wolf and while I may be the future Luna of this pack, I’m not officially which means that Nick’s mom is still the acting Luna until I take over so the fact that he’s given me this tasks instead of her just shows that he believes and trusts in me already and I love that. I just hope that his mom isn’t offended by him doing it.

I take a moment to look around and spot Lottie standing with Nick’s mom, Lily, Sophie and a few other she–wolves and head straight for them only as I am about to reach them Nick’s mom takes my hand and pulls me to the side and I find my self suddenly crazy nervous. Is she mad at me? “Nick told me that he has tasked you with organising the sleeping arrangements.” It’s not a question but a statement and yet I still find myself nodding in answer while nerves continue to invade my body.

“Don’t look so worried, sweetheart.” She gives me the sweetest smile which helps relax me somewhat. “Listen to me, sweet girl. I think it is a brilliant idea. You will soon be Luna to this pack and by doing this before you even have the title will just show the pack members exactly what you are capable of and how much you will care for them all. I believe that you are worried about how I feel about this but I honestly think that he made the best decision.

I will be happy to enjoy some free time with my mate.” Her words hit deep and I can see that she means them which has me completely relaxed but the moment that I stop worrying about what she thinks I instantly start to panic when I realize that I have no idea what I’m doing here but once again this woman is goddess sent and knows how I feel before I’ve

even say a word.

“Don’t worry, I’m not going to just abandon you. I will be here for any help that you need. From here on out I will help you learn all you need to and even after you are officially crowned Luna of the pack you can always come to me for advice. While being Luna is the hardest job, it is always so so rewarding. So, with that said I am going to let you lead the way with this task but I’m here for anything you need and Bonnie, darling I want you to remember one thing.
